The issue shown above regards the HoloToken not showing a total balance on the Ledger mobile app, while all the other tokens do. This is indeed an issue you may get worried about but you shouldn’t — at least all the tokens are there.
Today, we will cover a few tricks you can do to resolve the total balance for an ERC20 token not showing up in your account. Let’s begin…
Make sure you are using the latest version of Ledger Live.
If a token is not showing a current total price while some of the other ERC20 tokens are, might suggest that the exchange used to synchronize the prices does not support that particular token.
This issue thus can easily be fixed by changing the exchange to which the token for which no total balance is shown to a different exchange, ideally one that supports it.
How to change a token counter value by changing its exchange
Step 1: Connect your device using a secure USB cable, and open Ledger Live
Step 2: Go to ‘Settings’ and then navigate to the ‘Crypto asset’ tab
Step 3: From there, select the token you want to change the exchange for to get the counter value by clicking on the drop-down button and selecting a suitable exchange.
If when going to the crypto assets for the token in question you instead see something as shown below, it means that there are no available exchanges on Ledger Live for that token.
Whether on mobile on desktop, Ledger Live is a great app. You can navigate through it quickly to find out why a particular issue appears and you can sometimes fix it too. Today, we have shown you alternatives to fixing the total value of a token not showing in the account while the rest of the accounts do. Good luck!
